Proposed actions and confirmation
When you ask the assistant to do something that changes your Space (create an asset, a dashboard, an alarm rule, etc.), it does not run the action immediately: it proposes it in a confirmation card.
How it works
- Describe what you want in natural language.
- The assistant shows a confirmation card with a summary and details (template involved, fields, impact).
- You can Confirm, open a Preview (for dashboards), or Cancel.
- Only after explicit confirmation is the action applied.
Typical card states: pending → applying → Applied / Cancelled / Failed. After success you may get quick links (open dashboard, rule, asset, template) or a Trackle setup alert when needed.
Actions that require confirmation
Examples: create/update an alarm rule; create/update a dashboard or its widgets; provision a device solution; update a template or an asset.
Why it works this way
You always stay in control. This matters especially for template-level actions (rules and dashboards shared by all assets), as explained in Creating dashboards and rules from the asset detail page.
Usage indicator
The panel also shows a usage indicator (tokens/requests), useful to understand how much you are using the feature.
